AMNESTY!!

 

The Senate can try to disguise it any way they want, but the immigration reform legislation proposed on May 17, 2007, amounts to amnesty – a pardon and reward for lawbreakers. Congressman Steve King said this morning, “(The Senate’s bill) is a declaration of war against the rule of law, the middle class, and the destiny of America.”

 

As policy makers and citizens begin to comprehend what’s proposed in the Senate legislation, all 600 pages of it, disbelief follows. “The more you learn, the more outraged you will become,” Congressman King stated.

 

The House will soon take up the proposed immigration reform legislation and with Congressman King serving as the ranking member of the Immigration Subcommittee, he will work tirelessly to see that those who break the law are not rewarded. He has pledged to work with like-minded members of the House to prevent this legislation from moving forward in its present form.

 

What can you do? Contact the following members of the Iowa Congressional delegation and tell them you oppose granting amnesty in any form to illegal immigrants!
