Des Moines, IA (November 12, 2009) – The Iowa Christian Alliance today issued the following statement:

The recent statements by former Lieutenant Governor, Joy Corning, are reprehensible.  Her validation of homosexual marriage is evidence of a destructive worldview that desires only to throw off the restraining chains that we call morality.  Opposition to the Iowa Supreme Court’s perverse ruling on marriage is founded in a belief that the traditional family, composed of one female mother and one male father, is the backbone of society not simply by tradition but by design.
